Did you know ? Eukleides of Alexandria, most commonly known as Euclid, was an ancient Greek mathematician. We know little about Euclid's life. There is an opinion that he lived during the time of Ptolemy I. and perhaps he laid the foundations of mathematical research in the Alexandrian Museion. Euclid studied at the Platonic Academy in Athens and later worked in Alexandria.
